Receptionist
ABOUT THE POSITION
North Star is growing quickly, and we are looking for a highly production Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!
The receptionist ensures prompt and genuine greetings to every client or visitor that calls or comes into our office. Exceptional communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are essential as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. The receptionist will oversee giving clients directions to various parts of the office, contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phones, taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail.
This is a full-time Receptionist Role.

COMPETENCIES
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
Has a positive attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to all internal team members and external customers, by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, team members, sales agents, customers, vendors, and insurance partners proprietary company information
Other duties may vary based on current needs

Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00/hr
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school degree: additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
Superior PC skills e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
Proven work experience as a receptionist, or similar role.
