Payment Terms of Service
North Star Insurance Advisors Effective Date: April 30, 2026
These Payment Terms of Service (“Payment Terms”) govern all payments made to North Star Insurance Advisors (“NSIA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in connection with the Supported Independent Agent (“SIA”) program. By submitting payment, you (“Agent,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Payment Terms.
These Payment Terms are separate from and in addition to any Agent Agreement, Commission Schedule, or other contracts executed between you and NSIA or its affiliated carriers.
1. Fees and Charges
1.1 Onboarding Fee
A one-time onboarding fee of $1,000.00 USD is required to begin participation in the SIA program. This fee covers your enrollment in the training class associated with your selected class start date and your first two full months of program participation following your class start month.
1.2 Monthly Subscription Fee
A recurring monthly subscription fee of $500.00 USD is required to maintain active SIA program participation. This fee provides ongoing access to NSIA’s platform, support, and program resources.
1.3 Billing Schedule
Your billing schedule is determined by your training class start date as follows:
- Class start month: No additional charge beyond the onboarding fee. Partial month is included.
- Months 2 and 3 following class start month: Covered by the $1,000 onboarding fee.
- Month 4 and ongoing: Recurring $500.00 monthly subscription begins on the first day of the fourth month following your class start month and continues on the first day of each subsequent month.
Example: If your class start date is April 10, 2026, your April participation is included with onboarding, the $1,000 fee covers May and June 2026, and your recurring $500 monthly subscription begins July 1, 2026.
1.4 Authorization for Recurring Charges
By submitting payment, you authorize NSIA to automatically charge the payment method on file for the recurring monthly subscription fee on the first day of each applicable month. This authorization remains in effect until you provide written notice of termination as described in Section 3.
2. Payment Processing
2.1 Payment Window
Payment is due within 48 hours of receiving your payment link following an accepted offer. Failure to complete payment within this window may result in forfeiture of your reserved class seat.
2.2 Payment Methods
Payments are processed through HubSpot’s secure payment platform. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout.
2.3 Failed Payments
If a recurring monthly payment fails, NSIA will attempt to process the payment again within a reasonable timeframe. Repeated failed payments may result in suspension or termination of your SIA program participation. You are responsible for ensuring valid payment information is on file at all times.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 No Cancellations After Payment
All payments are final at the time of purchase. Cancellations are not accepted once payment has been processed. By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you are committing to the SIA program and your selected class start date.
3.2 Termination of Subscription
To terminate your monthly subscription, you must submit thirty (30) days written notice to NSIA. Your subscription will remain active and billable through the end of the 30-day notice period. Notice must be sent in writing to contact@northstaria.com.
3.3 No Prorated Cancellations
NSIA does not offer prorated cancellations. You will be billed for the full month in which your termination becomes effective.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 No Refunds
All payments are non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- The $1,000 onboarding fee
- All monthly subscription charges
- Any other fees paid to NSIA
4.2 Circumstances Not Eligible for Refund
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Voluntary withdrawal from the SIA program
- Missed or rescheduled class dates
- Failure to complete onboarding requirements
- Termination of your Agent Agreement (whether by you, NSIA, or the carrier)
- Restriction or revocation of your appointment by Pioneer American or any other carrier
- Personal, medical, financial, or scheduling circumstances
- Dissatisfaction with the program, training, or results
4.3 Billing Errors
If you believe a charge was processed in error, you must contact NSIA in writing at contact@northstaria.com within 5 business days of the transaction date. NSIA will investigate the claim and, if a billing error is confirmed, issue a correction. Disputes raised after this 5-business-day window will not be considered.
4.4 Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer in violation of these Payment Terms may result in immediate termination of your participation in the SIA program and may be reported to collection agencies. You agree to first contact NSIA to resolve any payment concerns before initiating a chargeback.
5. Changes to Fees
NSIA reserves the right to modify the monthly subscription fee with at least 30 days advance written notice to active agents. Any fee changes will not affect amounts already paid. You may terminate your subscription under Section 3.2 if you do not agree to the modified fees.
6. Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with your participation in the SIA program. NSIA’s fees do not include taxes unless otherwise specified.

8. Acceptance
